Not quite there
The talent here is undeniable and I love every second of both artists' playing. The first time I saw Mr Improv With My Friends From Work, it is always a huge honor to witness these icons of the industry. Seeing Lang for the first time, whom I love as an artist, was wonderful, but again, somewhat shortened. The show lasted 1/3 longer and he went 'all' up in the audience, which was totally awesome. So this is a GREAT review, just wanted more. What can I say, but just want more of it. So the same quality, just less of it, was an issue this time. Backup musicians were equally awesome. First, he was much more animated (St Aug 2 yrs ago). Peace.
